music: silence
drink: my new favourite
mood: ...
so, i am back in business after another break with lots of old news (at least for those who follow me on facebook) and some brand new stuff that i would like to share with you..
first and foremost, a new addition to my gallery, again untitled (i'm getting considerably worse with titles these days) which was completed with the help of a talented artist and my dear friend Eric Lacombe. we were supposed to be done with it months ago but since Eric had an exhibition to prepare, it took some time before he could start working on it, and now i can finally present it to you. huge thanks to mr Lacombe for the wonderful job done - as always it was a pleasure :)
continuing with france.. i had a chance to model for Nanoo G., a woman who i admire a lot and have been following for some years now. it's been great working with her and having the opportunity of getting to know her not just as an artist, but also as a person.. i'm posting the results of our collab here, and of course don't forget to check her other stuff - it's quite mindblowing.
a bit of a day-to-day stuff mixed with the collab theme.. last weekend i finally made it to the lovely city of trondheim. i've heard a lot of good things about it and let me just say that despite the nasty weather it surpassed all my wildest expectations. i stayed at Erlend Mork's who together with his brother Adrian and Adrian's wive Siv was kind enough to entertain me and generally take care of me during all the three days of my stay. i've tasted some exceptionally good food (Adrian in addition to being a great painter is also a really good chef), got massive supplies of my favourite irish cream (and well, depleted half of it), did some shooting in Erlend's studio, roamed around in the snowy city and payed a visit to one of the goth clubs with a cosy nachshpiel afterwards.. so yes, a kickass time in a great city with awesome people - my special thanks to everyone involved!
i've also met with Elisabeth Jakobsen, yet another fantastic photographer that i've been stalking on the web for a while - primarily we just planned a visit to the trondheim's famous foto school, which Elisabeth has graduated from (and - as you might guess - i am considering applying to). but our second meeting for coffee on sunday turned into a spontaneous shoot at Elisabeth's place and i ended up with two absolutely gorgeous pictures of me which i will post below. i have to say, this was the quickest shoot i've ever seen - the set up and the actual shooting took no more than 20 minutes - which i find very impressive! i only wish i could work as fast (and as good)..
conclusion?.. i think it's time to move again.. :)
last but not least - press related stuff..
i did an interview for the german blog Lichtbildwerkerin - you can check it out here (it is in german though).
and i was featured here - special thanks to Craig Murray for recommending me to the owner.
so.. i guess that was all news for tonight..
i got some really exciting stuff planned for the upcoming months, namely a trip to Cologne, Gent and Paris.. plus i am hoping to start working on a new piece that i shot in trondheim.
stay tuned :)
