here goes my first post in the brand new blog.
as you have probably noticed, i'm finally done with updating my site. something that began as a small code cleanup turned into a huge restoration and the result is what you see in front of you.
following numerous requests i completely rearranged the gallery, so now you can enjoy viewing my images in larger format.
another big change is the blog which i moved from blogspot to this very page. i'm not sure though how functional this whole arrangement is going to be. i guess i'll just have to see..
day-to-day stuff..
i got a really nice present from the US for xmas - a print from mr Santerineross (if you're not familiar with his work, i strongly recommend you to check it out). he was kind enough to offer an exchange - his print for mine; needless to say i said yes. my "those who disappeared" was shipped to the states and hopefully will soon hang on mr Santerineross's wall, while i added a gorgeous work of his "in a dream" to my humble collection.
i also had a chance to visit an exhibition "Take me to your leader", dedicated to the science-fiction art, where among other stuff were presented several works by H.R. Giger. we were not allowed to shoot inside but Erlend Mørk who accompanied me on this trip managed to take some mobile snaps.
after that we payed a visit to the annual exhibition "Julesalong" at Pan Gallery.. again i had a pinch of regret that i don't paint, as the seemingly simple works somehow turn out to be insanely expencive, and what's even more surprising - people actually buy them.
so that was pretty much all news i had to share with you tonight..
plans for the year are quite exciting.. a trip to the uk and germany, plus some interesting projects locally..
i'm also torturing a new work which might see the day of light sometimes soon.
stay tuned :)
I am going to rearrange mine too. I love your work!
Thank you for lot´s of inspiration for my drawings and paintings.
Have a great day :)
I just love the site revamp. Cool background picture also :) Although it makes me think of something else than you intended :D But that's just my twisted mind.
You do know Belgium is right in the middle of Germany and the UK, don't you?
I sure will stay tuned ;)
dada,
Hans
