my first post in the year 2012, which started nicely and i dare hope will continue this way..
but before that here is what i managed to do in the end of 2011.
first off, a new work, which i've done together with a french model Had3sia. she kindly offered to collaborate during my last visit in paris and i couldn't refuse. we had two major projects, one of them you can see below (hopefully first one of several as i intend to make a series), and the other one which is still in progress and should be finished in the nearest future.
among other exciting things happened in paris was nihil's exhibition which i mentioned in my previous post. the event turned out nothing but amazing and was certainly worth going to. i post some pictures here but you can find more on my facebook or on nihil's website.
i also dropped in to Le Cabinet des Curieux, that organized a meeting with Rick Genest himself (can't say i care too much about the guy but curiosity won over). i managed to piss off mr Genest by shooting him when he was consumig beer and pizza, and now he won't accept my request on facebook *sigh*.
talking about less famous but much more pleasant people, i finally met with Gilles, a photographer/3-D artist from Marseille, with whom i also plan to collaborate. we roamed the galleries in st germain, tasted traditional french raclette (the french are real experts in good food!) and talked about the possibilities of our work together.
i can't really name all other wonderful people i came across but my utmost thankyou to everyone involved, it was a huge pleasure.
press-related stuff.
i was featured in the new issue of the Camera Obscura magazine, dedicated to nude photography. you can find an interview and some pictures here - it's a beautiful collection indeed and i am glad to be a part of it. thank you, Petra!
and finally another collaboration of mine with a digital artist from Singapore Fariza Strömblad. i was just modelling for this one and she did the rest. check her DeviantArt gallery, it's really impressive!
so, that was all news for today. i got lots of stuff to do, and some exciting projects to realise.
as always, stay tuned :)
